TERMS AND CONDITIONS

By handing over your equipment you are agreeing to abide by these terms and conditions.

YOUR OBLIGATIONS

  1. You must supply all information pertinent to Obsequio carrying out the service at the time us receiving the equipment.  We will not be liable for incorrect work due to an omission of information.

  2. You must obtain and maintain all necessary licenses, permissions and consents which may be required before the date on which the servicing starts.

 

OUR OBLIGATIONS

  1. Should a cylinder fail any test we are obligated to destroy the cylinder to prevent further use. Should the customer want the cylinder returned we retain the right to charge for the work and will return the cylinder destroyed.

  2. Should the equipment manufacturer place any stipulations of the equipment we will enforce them provided that they do not contravene any higher legislation or regulation.

 

DELIVERY

  1. Service kits or replacement parts may sometimes be out of stock in our own warehouse, or that of the distributor or manufacturer. If this causes your equipment to be sent in more than one shipment, we will charge for the initial shipment only.

  2. You will be advised of the estimated delivery period but please leave up to 30 days for delivery. Completed equipment will usually be dispatched on the day following receipt of your order but some items may take longer. Any delivery date will be an estimate only. We shall not be liable for delays caused by matters outside our control.

  3. Risk of damage to or loss of the equipment shall pass to you at the point at which it is delivered.

  4. All orders have to be sent to the card holders address.

  5. For all International orders we can only ship to the billing address. PO Box addresses will not be accepted.

TURNAROUND

  1. Turnaround time is an estimate only and should be treated as such. 

  2. Any additional work or damaged components can delay the service and may extend the servicing time.

 

PAYMENT

  1. Initial payment is due on order. Payment will normally be debited from your card on the day the order is placed. Any additional payment will be due when items are completed.

  2. It should be noted that your payment card will be debited in pounds sterling. You may use MasterCard or Visa or you may mail to us a money order or personal cheque drawn on UK funds.

  3. We aim to protect legitimate credit card owners from fraud and therefore will report to the necessary authorities any person attempting to use a card which they are not authorised to use.

  4. We hold the right to ask for a bank transfer for any order placed with us.

 

PROPERTY

  1. Property shall pass to you provided your payment has cleared.

  2. We retain the right to withhold equipment should satisfactory payment not be made.

  3. Three months after service completion date, should the items not have been paid for or collected we retain the right to sell the equipment to defray the cost of work.

  4. Obsequio asserts all of its intellectual property rights in all of its promotional materials and trademarks.

 

WARRANTIES AND LIABILITY

  1. To the extent permitted by law, we have no liability for the content of any websites which we may link to from this site or which may link to this site.

  2. Where applicable all products are serviced to conform to all relevant British and European standards.

  3. Should there be a defect in any of the product supplied then we will replace the defective products free of charge or if you choose not to have a replacement you are entitled to a full refund of the price of the product (or a proportionate part of the price). Your statutory rights are unaffected.

  4. Serviced items are covered under warranty. Details of this warranty are supplied on the completed service certificate.

 

RETURNING WRONG SIZE OR FAULTY EQUIPMENT

  1. Damaged Equipment: Please contact Obsequio immediately upon noticing any fault. The equipment can then either be reserviced F.O.C. or a full or partial refund given up to the value of the service. Please note that fault during use, such as flooding, may require equipment to be returned to the manufacturer for warranty confirmation.

  2. Wrong size: Please contact Obsequio before returning any items. If the item was fitted incorrectly by us i.e. wrong size or colour then a free exchange can be made. Postage will not be free on the returned item.

  3. General: When returning equipment please enclose receipt, contact details (including daytime phone) and a note of why the equipment is being returned.

 

YOUR RIGHT TO CANCEL

You may cancel your servicing any time before we have started the service (this is any time before we have started to dismantle your equipment). To cancel a service, you must notify us by email or telephone requesting that the service be cancelled. If we have already started servicing, you may be liable for the cost of the entire service. We will use our discretion on this and each case will be judged on its individual basis.

 

FURTHER INFORMATION

We confirm that we will not pass on any of your information to any other company. The information we have about you will be stored on our computer and your details added to our mailing list.

 

CUSTOMER SATISFACTION

GENERAL

You are not entitled to assign or transfer any of your rights or obligations under this contract. This contract shall be governed by the laws of England and you agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
